KUALA LUMPUR: 28 Julai: PM DS Najib Razak needs to do more than pour more money into his six designated key areas to push Malaysia towards developed nation status, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said today.
Lim, who is also the secretary-general of DAP, stressed that for Najib's grand plan to work, his administration needs to first show how it has spent the RM10.9 billion fiscal injection allocated for this year to help the welfare of the various states and all Malaysians.
He questioned the federal government on its ability to deliver, noting that 150 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras promised to the island state since two years ago to help its efforts to curb crime has yet to materialise.
